It’s never too early to start working on your relationship, in fact, early is the best time. Prepare/Enrich is an interactive assessment that can help couples, primarily those engaged to be married, to increase relationship satisfaction. Aspects of your relationship that will be explored in premarital counseling therapy include: communication, conflict resolution, partner style and habits, financial management, leisure activities, sexual expectations and intimacy, family and friends, relationship roles, cultural differences, and spiritual beliefs.
Your scores will be reviewed from an in-depth couples assessment, which will be used to discuss your relationship strengths and areas of growth. The assessment itself has been proven to improve relationship satisfaction; however there is something extraordinary about the relationship a facilitator develops with a couple that truly helps the couple grow more than they would on their own.

Premarital Counseling & Prepare/Enrich FAQ’s
How many sessions are recommended?
Our psychotherapists recommend at least 10 sessions. During this committed time couples can expect to complete the entire Prepare/Enrich Assessment, workbook of interactive exercises, and explore any other concerns that may come up in sessions.
What is the investment cost?
Your first intake session will be 60 to 90 minutes at the cost of $200-$250. Follow up sessions are $135-$150 for 50-minutes. There is an additional $35 fee (per couple) for the Prepare/Enrich assessment. The cost of the session is specific to the therapist you choose to work with.
What is the structure?
The first session will be 60 to 90-minutes. Together, you and your partner will take the online Prepare/Enrich assessment for homework following your intake session. After the intake session some couples may need individual sessions before proceeding. After this process you and your partner will meet with your therapist for a 50-minute feedback session and begin working through the interactive workbook. Your therapist will provide homework to help supplement the skills you and your partner learn in session.
